Description
When your business tackles projects that involve working at heights, it’s imperative to have a personal fall arrest protection system to keep your workers safe. Falls are one of the leading causes of serious injury and death, making harnesses a necessity. Safety harnesses reduce the impact of a fall and keep workers in an upright, elevated position.
With our equipment — like the Warthog Full-Body Universal Harness with Side D-Rings — you can feel confident knowing that even if your workers are at an elevated height or walking along unprotected sides and edges, they will be safe daily.
The Warthog Side D-Ring Harness has dual lanyard keepers to hold lanyards out of the way while working. The Warthog also comes with a Premium Velcro Label Jacket to protect the labels on the job site. The Warthog is designed for efficiency and affordability while meeting the strict ANSI and OSHA testing requirements and standards. (Various Sizes Available)
Why Choose Our Safety Harness Kits and D-Ring Harnesses?
When you’re working at heights, you need a safety harness that will keep you secure throughout the day. With the Warthog full body harness, you get reliable support across your body with tongue and buckle leg straps as well as sturdy nylon and polyester construction. Safety D-Rings on each side offer simple tying off and work positioning for any environment.
Additional features of the Side D-harness include new reflective material for better visibility in dark spaces and ID labels with protective jackets. Tags are vital for keeping your equipment organized and understanding all features and components of the equipment. With a protective cover, your label stays clear and readable, even after several tough jobs.
Warthog safety harnesses can handle 130 to 310 pounds, making them a dynamic solution for many workers on your team. When you use a Side D-harness, you get the guaranteed safety of OSHA and ANSI compliance for any application.
Harness and Lanyard Kit Applications
Working at heights is a standard in the construction industry. Whether you’re working on scaffolding for a building project or hanging over water for bridge development, our harnesses offer the strength and security you need.
Our safety harnesses also work well for general maintenance in buildings. When you’re on high ladders or using powered platforms, OSHA requires fall protection. Our harnesses are also valuable in warehouses and industrial settings as well as for telecommunications and the marine sector.
Our harness systems are ideal for environments like:
- Telephone poles
- Ship decks and barges
- Elevators
- Manlifts
We always ensure our equipment is compliant with industry regulations, and we trust our harness kits on the job. Our team is continuously developing our designs for improved safety and comfort for every user. Because we handle everything from the initial designs to the final production, we have control over every step of the process.
How to Adjust the Safety Harness Kits to Achieve the Correct Fit
Equipping your workers with Warthog harnesses helps ensure they are protected while on the job. Making sure the new harness fits each worker properly is just as important. Doing this enables the safety features to function as they should.
Here’s how to find the right fit:
- Hold the harness by the back D-Ring and shake it out, then unfasten any straps.
- Put the shoulder straps on and make sure the D-Ring stays centered on your back.
- Put the leg straps on and attach those straps snugly onto the connector.
- Attach the waist belt, if your harness has one.
- Connect the chest strap, keeping it around 6 to 8 inches below your throat.
